6 Month Goals
November 17, 2015
Goal 1: Lose 15 pounds.
Yep. Cliche first goal, I know. But I'm actually serious about this one! I am tired of wondering how my jeans are going to fit me today. I am tired of not being confident in my own skin. I'm ready to be bikini ready! I figure no time is a better time to start than TODAY! I went out tonight to grab some essential things for this weeks meals to stay on track! I think I fall off of the bandwagon to lose weight because I feel that the food is so bland! Not this time. I grabbed 2 rotisserie chickens from Costco (for shredded chicken), a bag of spinach, cilantro, lemon, a red onion, a bag of brussel sprouts, a bag of cubed butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and green tortillas (TRY THESE!!) for wraps. I have been learning how to dress things up with spices to not be boring, and I am convinced it's the spices that are going to save me from falling off this track!
Goal 2: Work out at least 3 times a week.
This pertains to the above goal, but is also a goal in itself. I find that when I work out, I feel like a million bucks! That is worth it's weight in gold to me! We belong to the YMCA where we live, and they constantly have classes going on (and they are so fun). I am committing to working out at least 3 times a week!
Goal 3: Build myself up.
So often, I feel we look in the mirror and criticize ourselves for the little things. How we look, how our nose is crooked, how we have a breakout on our chin. I want to look in the mirror and compliment myself on 3 things. I want to glow with confidence, and help others build themselves up.
Goal 4: Stay organized with a planner.
I so badly am wishing for the Erin Condren Life Planner this Christmas! I have heard wonderful things about it from Mix and Match Mama, and I am convinced having that planner, with all of my family's pics on the outside, and some good colorful pens to write in it with, I could definitely be successful at writing my day's plans down instead of putting it in my phone.
Goal 5: Grow my hair out.
I have this issue. I have an a line bob cut and I LOVE IT. However, I have always wanted long hair. I just never have the patience to grow it out. Not this time! I am going to commit to going through that awkward hair stage (in between a bob and longish hair), and I am going to tough it out! I would love to be able to have more fun with styles and actually be able to put my hair up in a ponytail. And plus, long hair for my wedding will give me so many more options!
I'm sure I could think of a few more goals to write down, but I want to keep my list reasonable, and slowly build it up! I hope to hear your goals too ladies! Lets empower each other and keep each other accountable :)
