ONE
I love exploring this new place of ours! We decided to go on a little roadtrip (because in Hawai'i, going on a roadtrip meant touring the island, and within 4 hours you were back where you started ;) We have been researching cool places to see that are a it far from our home, but things that we want to see before we may move again!
We hit up Haystack Rock this week, which is the filming place of the Goonies movie!
He said that if I didn't stop taking selfies, he would turn the car around. Needless to say we made it there ;)
We had to take a selfie when we got there though!
We stopped for lunch at a local hardware store (YEP), that was half hardware store, half restaurant. It was interesting to say the least..
We made a stop by the Nike World Headquarters on the way home (SO COOL!)
They have a trail that runs through the whole headquarters (which is the sidewalk you see there) and apparently thats where a bunch of the employees go running on breaks and lunches.
TWO
I am loving all of the Halloween decor that is going on sale, now that it's over! I usually stop by Hobby Lobby once or twice a week just to check out the selection ;) As much as I love using decor right when I find it, I know that it'll be so exciting to pull new things out of the box next year that cost me way less than they wouldve! I found this cute autumn pumpkin at Joanns (they don't have a great selection), and I've found a bunch of Christmas things that will be coming in another post of Christmas decor!
THREE
Oh my goodness. We just picked up this new vacuum from Costco (It was $30 off and I did a ton of research before buying it. It got awesome reviews!). Let me tell you ladies, the amount of dirt and hair this picked up out of our carpet (EW), was incredible! This thing is light, a little top heavy (nothing that bothers me), has an LED light on the bottom of it so you can see exactly where you push it, it fits under any and everything. Seriously. THIS THING ROCKS. I think it's fairly reasonably priced. It's called the Shark Rocket and it will be replacing all of the other vacuums we have tried. It will make cleaning a breeze, trust me! I believe Target carries this vacuum too, but its under a slightly different name and is orange instead of blue.
FOUR
Anyone in need of an AMAZING face wash?? You should always be :) I picked up the Purity face wash from Sephora this past week and have been using it with my Clarisonic Mia 2 (which is also a favorite!). My man uses whatever face wash I bring home (he's not picky), and he's been loving it too. I am dry to normal skin type, and it does not strip me or make me break out. It is very sensitive and removes everything! What more is there to love?
FIVE
My favorite meal of ALL time is my favorite this week as well. I am always into trying new recipes for us, but sometimes it feels so good to go back to the basics! I love spaghetti!!!! #SpaghettiAddict #Seriously
I sometimes simmer my sauce with a bit on onions, chopped and garlic, minced. But sometimes, I just throw in a jar of sauce and say go for it ;) It makes it even more fun when you find cool noodles! These are a little thicker noodles than regular spaghetti and have a hole in the middle. So fun :) This is also my fave spaghetti sauce. I find this at Costco. For around $8 for 2. I personally think this is a bit expensive for spaghetti sauce, but the jars are huge, and I think it tastes better than any other jarred spaghetti sauce I've tried. And yes, I've pretty much tried them all lol!
