Nighttime Routine

Y'all. I love a good nighttime routine! It makes it so fun and cozy to just jump right into your pj's and feel clean. Let me share :)

First
A bath or a shower! I personally prefer a shower, because it feels cleaner to me, if you know what I mean? But on the nights that I really want to indulge in a spa night, I take a bath. With a Lush bath bomb. YEP. Ever heard of this one ladies? Well, you have now! Let this be a warning from me to you, THEY'RE ADDICTING. They paint your water with beautiful colors, they are soothing, and you only need about 1/4 of the bath bomb, so that means you can use it over and over again. This is what they look like:

Yep they make your bath that pretty!! If you use these, I suggest cutting them with a knife into fourths, storing the rest in a plastic baggy, and then you hold the bath bomb under running water in your tub for best results. Here's the link to Lush's Bath Bombs

While in the bath, I like to light some candles, any candles will do. But especially Bath and Body Works Candles. They just fill the room so nicely! I also bring a book in with me, and this time of the year, I turn on Christmas music on Pandora. Then, I tend to get hungry, so I plan ahead and bring a snack and some ice cold water with me and just set it next to the tub! Bring on the relaxation!

TWO
After getting out of the bath and drying off, I like to put on a thick body cream! Staying hydrated in the winter time is so important! I like the Cera Ve Moisturizing Cream.

THREE
If I haven't already washed my face by now, I go ahead and do it. I use my Clarisonic Mia 2
(I have the hot pink one in the middle)

with the Cetaphil Daily Cleanser.

This combo is awesome! I usually use something more stripping on my face, but I was having major breakouts! I went to the dermatologist and she told me it was because I need a more moisturizing cleanser (I have dry to normal skin). This one is reasonably priced and is a well trusted brand. I've been loving it!

FOUR
I always spend lots of time on my face!
First I use 2 drops of L'oreal Age Perfect Face Serum. I love the glow this gives to my skin! I also enjoy the Tarte Maracuja Oil.

Then I apply my nighttime eye cream, Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream

I then apply a moisturizer. I use the Cera Ve Moisturizer (love this brand!)

Lastly, I apply a lip cream. I love the Bite Beauty Lip Agave Mask

FIVE
I love to get into snuggly jammies now (I love Vera Wang ones, or fleece ones). I put on some fuzzy socks, and I cuddle with my hubby by the fireplace, while we watch a show before bedtime. Sometimes I'll drink tea or hot chocolate. It's so cozy! And who doesn't like cozy?!

I encourage you ladies to take off all your makeup, let your hair down, and have a night just pampering yourselves! You can even put on a face mask if you please (I love the Glamglow masks, Sephora face masks, or the Freeman beautiful masks). You can do your nails (I love Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI, Cajun Shrimp by OPI, and Flip Flop Fantasy by China Glaze). Girls, just do what makes you happy, and take some "me time" for yourselves :)

Let me know in the comments how it goes!
