ONE

HOLY COW.

HAS IT BEEN A WHILE OR WHAT?!!

So where have I been?? 

I gotta say. I went through a TOUGH grieving process these past couple of months. 

And blogging had become more of a chore to me, rather than loving it. 

I was having a TOUGH time finding a lot of joy in life. And I just needed to get my head right. 

This sounds CRAZY...

But you know what I was missing?? 

A good workout routine, eating right, and doing things to FILL UP MY CUP!

Which leads me to...

TWO

I'm now a BEACHBODY COACH!!!

This has been a CRAZY GOOD adventure. And I am so blessed to have come across this opportunity. 

I promise not to shove it down your throats!! 

But if you are interested in reaching your fitness goals, loving yourself, and being happier...

Then I would LOVE to chat with you! 

I promise you guys that I don't bite. And I AM a real person who CARES about you and YOUR SUCCESS! 

My next challenge group coming up is on September 5!

This yogurt. Can a yogurt even be a favorite??

You're dang right it can be! 

This yogurt SCREAMS Fall to me! 

Even though I was eating it on a 98 degree day. #hot

But, I may or may not have proceeded to buy 4 blanket scarves and a pair of boots that I won't need for SEVERAL months.. Oh my. 

FOUR

On the note of Fall...

Yes, I am one of those girls who has already stocked up on my fall scents from Bath and Body Works... #sueme

But you guys will be kicking yourself when you have to pay full price for a candle, and you remember that your friend Rachel got hers at half off. 

My suggestion?? Watch out for those candle sales. And then snatch 'em all up!!!

They've got some SERIOUSLY COZY scents out this year ;)

Show and Tell Tuesday: Favorite Vacations!

What a totally fun topic!

I love taking vacations. 

Some of the best memories come from them!

So, let's get talkin'!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Favorite Vacations!

Disney World

Because, duh.

Happiest place on Earth! 

I l-o-v-e Disney World, but I took this vacay when I was younger. 

So, I can't wait to go back and experience it with my man!

This is actually at Universal Studios, because we went to both Universal and WDW. But it was all in the same trip. We had a blast!

And yes. I was in a boot the entire trip. Painful, but worth it!!

My tip to myself for future trips to Disney World is to spend at least 6-7 days at the parks, and only do 1 park a day. Pack snacks, and don't be afraid to take a break during the day and then come back. Also, plan to do Universal Studios while you're there, and plan your trip during the non busy times!

Cruise

Because, also duh.

We went on a cruise to Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Curacao, and the Dominican Republic.

HOW FUN?!!

So much fun :)

Turks and Caicos was my least favorite stop, but it was also super cloudy and a bit chilly that day, despite it being in June.

The Dominican was amazing! We took a speed boat out to a private island, and stopped by a starfish farm on the way back!

In Aruba, we explored the entire island in a huge jeep and had a great time!

In Curacao, we spent the day walking around the town. It was so hot and humid. And had I not been so motion sick, I think I would've had way more fun :)

I was young when I went on this cruise, so of course my man and I plan to do it again ourselves. 

My only tip to myself for future cruises would be to plan excursions! On the stops that we didn't have anything planned, it wasn't fun at all!

Hawaii

Our move to Hawai'i was like a big year long vacation. And I loved it!

My man and I ventured out to Hawai'i and spent a year living on the island of O'ahu. 

We made INCREDIBLE memories, and have even considered moving back, if it weren't so far from family. 

My tip to myself for going back to Hawai'i is to find out the spots that the locals like. Those tend to be the least populated with tourists, and incredibly gorgeous. Spend time just enjoying the beach, and snorkeling. And if you're on the right island, there quite possibly is a waterfall to swim underneath ;)

So I hope you gathered some kind of cool ideas for your next adventures from my past ones!

I applied this product with my beauty blender and it was incredible!

I love the high SPF. I love how it smoothes out my skin. I love the medium coverage.

Just all around, this product totally floats my boat :)

I love this man's humor, his dedication, and his incredible energy that carries our family through all times, good or bad. My man is the most incredible leader of our family, and I am so grateful that the Lord made him just for me :)

1. The Bible

The Bible is the best book ever! Pretty self explanatory. But it has answers to any question you could ever have, and if you get lonely on the island, The Bible tells you just how much you are loved! 

Plus, The Bible is one that you can read over and over again and learn something new every time. So you'll never get bored. Plus, you could use it for artwork! 

2. Troublemaker by Leah Remini

Or a book like this one! I personally love reading about other people's lives. Call me curious, but I find it very intriguing! And I love learning new things about others. 

So, I would bring a book about someone's life and read it over and over! 

3. How To Signal For Help For Dummies

Because I'd really like to not be stranded on this island for too long ;)

My Personal Style!

My personal style is so hard for me to describe. 

I love bright and sunny colors, pink, yellows, greens. 

My favorite kind of jeans are distressed jeans.

I love heels, but I don't wear them often because I don't like being taller than my hubby. 

I love comfortable clothes, but I love to look cute. 

I shop at Ross, Marshalls, Tj Maxx and a ton of boutiques. 

Some of my most loved pieces are from boutiques. I love them because I don't see a lot of them on other people. 

I am pretty modest with how I dress. I don't like to wear skin tight clothes, or be showing my cleavage. 

But that being said, I don't like my clothes to just 'drape' on me like a curtain. I like for them to have structure and flatter my figure. 

I love wearing shorts in the summer {I know some women hate wearing shorts}

I love cute sandals!

I totally love wearing dresses. Short summer dresses, and maxis are my favorite. 

I'm totally girly, and I love having my hair and makeup done when my clothes are looking cute too!

So there you go! I hope maybe that gives you a look into the personality of The Fashionista Housewife!

Our home got hit hard with the cold going around.

So, we took some time to cuddle up together and let our bodies heal themselves! 

It was relaxing to say the least ;)

But here we are! And I'm so glad to be back!

My newest favorite drink concoction! 

We headed to Dutch Bros. on the way to puppy training this week {thanks babe!}, and I decided to try something new. 

Next time you're grabbing coffee, try this YUMMY drink! 

Iced Coffee {light ice} 

extra sweet {I don't like the taste of coffee much, but if you don't mind it, I would skip this step}

2 pumps of white chocolate and 2 pumps of raspberry

with soy milk {almond milk would be yummy too!}

Did y'all see the recipe I posted this week? {I did manage to get something up!}

It was total comfort food for us this week as we stayed inside, cuddled up in our blankets. 

But, I can totally see this as being a meal we make over and over again. It was that good!

Not sure if you can tell or not, but under those blankets is a little puppy ;) 

Cole's newest favorite game is when he lays on the bed, and then we cover him with the blankets.

He finds his way out, and we say "Peekaboo!". 

He just smiles and licks our faces. I mean, could this face get any sweeter?!

They have some cute clothes, of course. But the prices are super fair! They range from about $10-$50 throughout the site.

Just some of the adorable clothes I've found that I totally wouldn't mind adding to my closet ;)
