Polar Express Night and Crockpot Hot Chocolate!

Okay you guys. This is one of our all time favorite Christmas traditions. I know I mentioned it in my post that you can check out here. This is so fun!

It's such an easy going night, and it doesn't take hardly any preparation (except for the hot chocolate, and if you wanna build a fort to watch the movie in ;)

So stick around to see our most loved tradition in the Fashionista Housewife Home :)

Polar Express Night

Time for fun!!! Just watch as this night unfolds years of memories for you guys to share!

First, we get into our most comfy jammies!

I choose some fleecy jammies with some fuzzy socks. I love to be warm and toasty, and I usually run cold anyways.
My man chooses shorts and a T-shirt #oppositesattract.

I make some crockpot hot cocoa, and put it into our Starbucks cups. You know, the ones they sell for $1? I honestly just use them because they have tops on them. Makes it easy to drink in the living room!

We love to bring out our inner kid and build a fort to watch the movie in. It's so cozy and it really gets everyone in the mood to settle in for a night at home!

We turn on the fireplace. Ours is not real in any case, but that's alright with me! You just press the on button ;) We found this media console (its gorgeous in person too!) at Walmart, of all places!

I grab a fleece blanket #canyoutellilikefleece that we got from Costco. We love these! I believe they're called the Sherpa lined ones? We have a tan and a maroon one. If you can't find these, Cole has his own blankie from Costco too. But his is just plain fleece and in a dark brown color. His is super soft too!
The tan sherpa blanket is the one I'm cuddled up in!

Turn on The Polar Express, it's time for the main premiere!

Enjoy staying cuddled up with your most favorite people on the planet :)

We do this every Christmas Eve!

Friday Favorites!

I say this every week... and I'm gonna say it again.
IT'S ALREADY FRIDAY??!

Well, I guess I'm not complaining! We have some exciting news this week. And I can't wait to share with you ladies :)

ONE
Um hello?! This should be everyone's number one. CHRISTMAS DECOR! Yes, ladies. It's upon us. And I am loving it. Hobby Lobby has a solid 50% off of their Christmas decor, Ross and Marshalls are filled with holiday goodness, and Home Goods is bringing it too! I am so pleased with the selection for this year. We found some cute things.
(Our tree for this year. I love the sign. I believe it's meant for outside. But I got it from Hobby Lobby. It says "Cupcake this way, Hot cocoa, Sweets & Treats, Cookies for Santa".)

(Our little decoration on the right)

(It was too cute to pass up at Hobby Lobby. It says "Keepin' It Merry In Our Christmas Jammies")

(Cute little trees from Hobby Lobby)

(I got the sign from Hobby Lobby and the bells are from Tj Maxx. It came in a huge box. You'll see where the rest of the bells were used in the next pic)

(Glass vase is from Marshalls, Bells are from Tj Maxx, and the burlap ribbon tied around the vase was the ribbon tied around the box of bells from Tj Maxx. I don't waste anything! lol. The Ho Ho Ho train sign is from Hobby Lobby)

(Cute kitchen mat from Ross)

TWO
Hot drinks have also been my favorite this week! Starbucks had advertised a yummalicious (yep I said it!) drink that I couldn't wait to try! It's called the Holiday Spice Flat White.
YUM.
It's cinnamon and spices, Christmas Blend Espresso, and frothy milk.
I also can't wait to try the Chestnut Praline Latte. Making my mouth water as I think about it!

When I can't make it to starbucks, I make Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows at home (just the mix). Or I make Apple Cider. I get mine from Costco. It's so yummy!

THREE
Movies! I love to cuddle up on the couch with my man and watch movies. We eat popcorn and candy and just laugh our butts off while enjoying each other's company. He's my FAVORITE!
It's no surprise that I love Disney movies (Uh hello, I worked for Disney!). So we stocked up on some really fun Disney movies this week for movie nights. We just pick them up on Amazon. So much cheaper!

Heres the one's we got.

(One of my favorites as a kid!)

(Such a classic!)

(Olaf and Sven are my fave!)

(I just love the animation in these. They're so cute)

(Did you know Finding Dory is coming out next year??)

(I adore this storyline. It's so much different than all of the other princess movies)

Sometimes it's just fun to let your inner kid out! I encourage you to try it :)

FOUR
Black Friday Shopping! I did most of my shopping online this year, and as it's starting to show up at my door, it's like Christmas 3 weeks early! I'm loving it!

I got great deals on Ulta. I got amazing deals on Sephora  ( after Black Friday for being VIB Rouge), I got awesome deals on Target. I mean, this year was just a win! I won't bore  you with what I got, because it's after the fact and the deals aren't here anymore (boo), but they'll be popping up here and there in new posts :)

Like in my Favorite Hair Products post. I picked up some of these on black friday. Check them out :)

FIVE

And for the most exciting favorite of all time!...

We are adding a new member to our family!

No I'm not pregnant!

Yet.

There will be a time for that later in life.

But in about 2 weeks from tomorrow (Saturday), our new baby is coming home!

Meet Cole! Our precious Goldendoodle!

He is 5 1/2 weeks old right now, he's the runt of the pack, and is so easy going!

We went to the breeder's house just to look at him (we originally were going to rescue, but we are highly allergic to dogs. Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic and usually shelters don't have hypoallergenic dogs or they go quickly). The breeder is so nice and we originally were just going to look. We weren't necessarily going to get a puppy yet (unless we found the right one). We were wanting to get a little girl so badly. I don't know why, but we just thought a girl was right. Shows us how God's sense of humor is! He brought the most amazing puppy to us who was the opposite of everything we "thought" we wanted.

We were playing with a girl puppy and thought she was for us... until we saw the littlest guy of the pack. And I mean significantly littler! We picked him up and he immediately fell asleep in our arms. *Swoon*. Then we woke him up after a few minutes and he was ready to play. Basically, his personality is just so easy going. He will sleep if you hold and pet him, and he'll play if you want to play. We can't wait to bring our first baby home!

Read my post here on the names we had in mind for him before choosing Cole :)

(Our Cole baby!)

(Our sleeping pup)

(Look at that sweet face!)

(Chewing on daddy's finger because he's teething)

(The breeder sent me this saying "Perks to being the smallest sibling!" Yep. That's our boy sleeping on top of his brothers! With the red collar)

(Sweet face!)

(Cuddling with his daddy! My man is so in love!)

(So blurry, but can you tell how happy I am to be holding our babe?? Oh my heart! Look how tiny he is! Happy mama and pup!)

(With his other mama!)

He'll be coming home in 2 weeks. So get ready for tons of pics of our cute baby!

Let me know some of your thoughts for Friday Favorites. I love to hear new ideas!
