And this is actually so exciting to talk to you ladies about, because just last night, I ordered my new planner for the 2016 year! 

I ordered the Erin Condren Life Planner- Life in Little Squares in the Vertical Layout, with just my first and last name on the front. 

I seriously love that I can personalize my planner! It's going to make me so happy to open it everyday and see all of the people that make me most happy on it! 

When it arrives, I'll be happy to do a more in depth post on it, if y'all are interested!

I also bought the non bleed color pens to go with it, and a Meal Planner Clip In. 

Lilly Pulitzer

It's going to be a change for me to have the vertical layout, because last year, I had a horizontal layout! 

I had a Lilly Pulitzer planner, and I'm honestly hoping that this Erin Condren one is much better. 

I think that the hype about the Lilly Pulitzer planner is just from her die hard fans, who love her prints. And I'll admit, it was super cute! 

And of course, I did have my whole life in there. 

But, I felt that there just wasn't enough structure inside of it. I felt that I had to make all of the organization happen inside of it, because otherwise it would be a wreck!

This could be half due to the horizontal layout, but it could also be due to there being NO structure inside the pages. 

It may be hard to see, but I had to highlight everything, and label it all. Instead of it just already having a place to go. This is one of the neater pages. It got out of hand several times!

That being said, because of the lack of structure in my last one, my other choice for a planner this year was the Emily Ley Simplified Planner. 

It seriously looked dreamy #InOrganizationWorld

But, the color that I wanted was sold out indefinitely, and I believe that you need to LOVE the way your planner looks, feels, and everything in between. 

It can be a simple thing to switch up your day, to love the way your planner looks. 

Therefore, I did not order that one. But I loved the way the organization inside of it was!
