False lashes, just like eyebrows, can make (or break) any look!
I personally wear falsies just about everyday, because I've gotten so used to putting them on. They only take around 30 seconds once you've had practice and you know how you like them to look.
If you're scared to wear these, I totally encourage you to step outside your comfort zone! There are so many styles that can be super easy to apply, and look natural (with a hint of glam :)
Before I ever tried wearing falsies, I thought it would make me look fake, or too caked up, and I worried that people would be able to see them and tell the difference between my real and fake lashes.
I have since found some PERFECT lashes for you ladies who just want something a little more to enhance your beautiful eyes! Every time I wear these lashes, I get questions asking how I got my real lashes to be so long and healthy ;)

How to Trim and Apply Falsies!
So ladies, I have to warn you... this may take a lot of practice (and patience!). But that is quite alright! A couple of times applying these babies and you'll be ready to rock these in public :)
Remember, the people who already know how to apply these didn't always know how! We all went through the learning stage. So keep pushing through. It's worth it!
Okay, okay, onto the tutorial. Ready to know what the PERFECT lashes are?!!
Ardell Demi Wispies.
So gorgeous!
I got this big pack (comes with 5 pairs) from Sally's for $20. I get around 5-7 uses out of each pair of lashes. (I'm kinda rough with them so you may be able to get more if you want to clean them and be gentle and all that!)
You can also get these at Target and just get the 1 pair pack for about $3.
I use the Duo Brush on Adhesive with Vitamins. I'm not sure if the vitamins really do anything for my eyelashes, but I just really like how you can brush it on with a wand! So much easier than their squeeze out tubes (I used those for about a year before discovering this!)
This glue is about $6 but will last you around a year.
Here's how you do it
1. Take one of your lashes and place it on your eye. Blink around a couple of times. Does it poke you in the eye? Mine sure do! Just take any pair of scissors and cut off 1 knot at a time and keep measuring them up to your eye. I only need to take 1 knot off of each lash. Remember: ALWAYS cut from the outside edge of the lash (where the hairs are really long). If you cut from the inside, it will make it much harder to blend in with your eye. Keep the short lashes, but cut from the long lash side.
2. Now that your lash is ready in length, take your glue and brush it on the lash band of the false lash. You only need a thin layer. Wave it around a bit or blow on the lash. You'll find that the glue will get tacky. Do not allow it to dry all the way, but blow on it for around 20 seconds.
3. Apply the lash to your eye. (Make sure to have a dry layer of mascara first. Just enough to coat your lashes so you can't see their natural color). Just stick it on there. There's no right or wrong way to do this, and we will be moving it around!
4. I usually start in the middle of the eye and I put the falsies as close to my lash band as I can possibly get. Then I move to the outer corner and make sure that the lash is not sticking out past my eye. That would make it so it couldn't stick. Then I move to the inner corner and make sure it won't poke me in the eye.
5. Once you think you have gotten it pressed to your natural lash line, open your eye. Now press from the top of the falsies to make sure they go even closer to your lash line. I then go from underneath the lashes and push them up a bit. This is a key factor in making your lashes look plush and full!
6. If they are new lashes, I take a TINY bit of mascara and just pull it through the tops of the lashes. Just so they show up. Sometimes they can become a bit transparent against our makeup.
7. Enjoy your beautiful new, natural looking falsies!

Full plush lashes!
How fun ladies! I would love to know if you followed these directions and ended up with great results!
Remember, don't get frustrated or give up. Just when you think you can't do them right, the next time you'll get the hang of it. Keep pushin' through for those beautiful lashes!!
