Hooray! That means, time for fun weekend activities, like sitting in front of our fireplace with hot chai tea in my hands and watching some Christmas movies with my man :) 

I am fully taking advantage of this Christmas season before it's over!

Friday Favorites!

ONE

Shopping for doggy items! 

We have been SO excited (understatement) for our Cole baby to come home! 

In case you're wondering, that's in 9 days!

So we put in a HUGE order on Amazon, and I'm starting to understand how expensive a baby would be... just based on how much little Cole is costing us already! But he's so worth it! 

His stuff should be coming in tomorrow and the next few days (it will be like Christmas on our front porch...). 

And that includes this. I mean, how cute is he gonna look in this?! So dang cute. It's going to go on his red collar and create some contrast in colors. We decided red would always be his color (since we chose the "little red boy" at the breeder). So we are keeping his red collar on him. 

This just clips onto any collar (make sure you check for that if you're interested in these. I wouldn't suggest the ones that are a whole collar in themselves. They hardly ever fit). 

Side note, the breeder had to put a cat collar on him. Why you ask? 

Because he's so tiny! 

But seriously. How CUTE is this gonna be on him?!

I am seriously LOVING the post I did yesterday. 

It's all about my lipstick collection. 

It's super informative, and has TONS of swatches. Something to be excited about :)

It could really help you make a decision if you're deciding between some different brands or colors and can't decide which lippie to try!

Have y'all also had some bouts of warm weather?! I mean, it's December for goodness sakes! 

But, I'm not complaining, just definitely was not expecting weather in the 60's this week!

And we totally took advantage of that! 

And by that, I mean I threw on a pair of wedges and headed to Costco ;) 

Reminds me of those Hawai'i days where everyday was GORGEOUS (and not rainy; although I do enjoy some cozy gloomy days sometimes :)

My bag is Marc New York (found at Ross)

My skinnies are Levi's (found at Ross)

My shirt is just a flowy white one (tag was cut out years ago)

My toes are painted french tips.

FOUR

ZOO LIGHTS. YES!

Who else has this annual tradition with their family? 

I know this tradition will be around as long as we are living in a city that has them! 

If you don't know what zoo lights are, they are when your (usually only for larger cities) zoo lights up the ENTIRE zoo for Christmas time. 

Both of the zoos that we've been to that have this event have had Hot Chocolate, Caramel Popcorn (popped right in front of you), Carousel Rides (that yes, we go on even as adults :), and a train that takes you around the zoo to sit and relax.

I mean, so fun right?! I seriously encourage you to look about and try this event if it's in your area. Never fails to be an amazing night :) 

We headed to Zoo Lights this last week and loved it! It was so fun and romantic. But I love just about anything I get to do where I get to hold my man's hand and just enjoy each other :)

FIVE

Our food from this week has been my favorite! 

I probably say that every week, but I seriously just love to cook. It's my labor of love :) 

Of course I have some new recipes coming for you later this week, but for now, let me share with you the AMAZING ones we've made so far!

Monday: Frozen Pizza (because the Newman's Own brand is SO YUMMY and healthy for you :)

Tuesday: No Fail Burgers (with tater tots, on King Hawaiian Rolls)

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Easy Peasy Goulash (With organic turkey meat this time, it made all the difference)

Friday: Chicken Mozzarella Meatballs (Check back later this week for this yummy and EASY recipe)

This is the pizza I'm talking about! We eat this up like crazy!
