Favorite Stocking Stuffers!

Okay ladies, how fun is this post? I love this! Stocking stuffers can sometimes be the most favorite present of all! Especially if done right :) Ready for some awesome ideas?? Here we go...

Boys
1. Matchbox Race Cars. This may be a new age of technology and video games, but I guarantee, sticking a couple of these bad guys in your little guy's stocking will get his imagination going again!
2. Candy. Come on. Everybody loves candy! Go to a specialty shop and get him his own bag of mixed sugary goodness. He won't be able to resist calling you the best mom for the rest of the year!

3. Basketball/Baseball Cards. This may sound "boring". But these used to be the hot thing back in the day. Get him a couple of these, and you never know. They may be worth some moolah when he gets older. And they are kinda cool to collect :)

4. Pajamas. We like to do this for everyone in our family. We open them on Christmas Eve, too. Make sure to make them a comfy, cozy pair, and then warm up with our Favorite Christmas Tradition
(Fun Captain America Jammies!!)

5. Boy Movie. Get him a movie he's been wanting to see, or maybe a movie that his sister may not be into. Sometimes it's fun to have your own movie!
(Can't go wrong with Ninja Turtles, the new one is quite a hoot too!)

Girls
1. Barbie Doll. Like I said, this is the age of technology. Imagination is a thing of the past. I personally think that is so sad. I can remember playing with barbie dolls all the time while I was growing up, and I was constantly coming up with new scenarios! I had the best time. I even have some collectible barbie dolls that have never been touched that are now worth good money. Any girl would be excited about this!

2. Coupon Book. Handmade of course. And yes. I am saying that YOU will be giving your little girl a handmade coupon book. This can also work for boys too! I used to love making these for my mom as a gift. Ideas for the coupon book are, "Day alone with Mom/Dad", "Dinner of your choice", "Toy of your choice at the store",  "Spa day with Mom (Pedicures, Manicures, Hair Styling, etc...)". Get creative!
( I love the idea they have here too! "Making S'mores with friends". Can you imagine a fun girls night in summer?)

3. Webkinz. This could also work for boys too, I suppose. I just don't know if they are as into these as my nieces are. Webkinz are a stuffed animal that you buy, and it comes with a code inside it's tag. You register that code online and it opens up a cool world that only webkinz are allowed into. Check these out. I used to have them when I was a kid, and I had a blast with them. Another stuffed animal that my nieces love are Beanie Boos. Fairly cheap, and they're everywhere!

4. Gift Cards. If your little girl is anything like me, they love to shop! How fun to get them a $10-$20 gift card to their favorite store (Justice, perhaps?), or just a plain old Visa gift card to use on anything they please. I'm sure they would find it so fun to have their own "credit card"!

5. Pajamas. Of course. Because nothin's better than cozying up in some fluffy, warm pajamas, and drinking Hot Cocoa!
(Princess pajamas always win)

Men
1. Cologne. I guess this could also just be a regular gift, because they can tend to be pretty expensive. But you can opt for a smaller, travel size. Which tends to be cheaper, and you can also get a few for him to try out and choose the one he likes best!

2. Movies. Go on Amazon and find some cool movies that spark memories between you two! Maybe it's the first movie you ever saw together, or one that just reminds you of him. They tend to be cheaper online, but just as good as in the store. You can also get him a TV Series. This way he can watch the episodes as much as he wants, and never lose them to a battle with the DVR!
(Yes, we love both of these!)

3. Tickets to a Sporting Event. How fun is this one? Of course you get 2 tickets, one for you and him! This always ends up being such a fun date night, and it's uncommon from the ol' dinner and a movie scene. Maybe grab dinner before, and some dessert after the game if you're not ready to go home yet.

4. Socks. Not even kidding. My man just asked me for these. Literally. Ha! Well, that's easy enough. But instead of going for the plain old Goldtoe socks, maybe go for some smart wool socks, specialty socks for running (or whatever sport he's into), or some crazy socks! You can also opt for Slippers if your man would prefer that.
(I think these are hilarious!)

(SmartWool Socks)

(My man has these exact Ugg Slippers in Gray. Except, I'm usually the one wearing them, because they're so warm:)

5. Pajamas. Can't leave hubby out of this tradition. Or it wouldn't be a tradition. My man tends to run hot, so instead of fuzzy and warm P.J.s, I would get him some lightweight ones.

Women
1. Perfume. I love the little purse-sized rollerballs from Ulta or Sephora. They're usually cheaper and I like how compact they are. Getting complemented by your man on how good you smell is never a bad thing either ;)
(This is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Rollerball Trio)

2. Ulta/ Sephora Gift Card. Again... Shopaholic over here! Even a $25 gift card to these places can be so fun! A new makeup product can boost your mood. I suggest going for something you wouldn't usually buy with a gift like this. How fun to get a sweet new lip color that you would never try with your 'own' money??

3. Jewelry. Yes. Jewelry is expensive, at least the type I'm thinking of. So it's not much of a stocking stuffer. But this can be a fun way to disguise the gift. You don't see a pretty little box wrapped under the tree and know exactly what it is. You pull a jewelry box out of a stocking and it's totally unexpected. Likewise, costume jewelry can be just as fun sometimes! That can totally work as well for this one :)

4. Book. I don't know about you, but I love to read captivating books. Amazon sells the books fairly cheap, and how fun to pull an interesting new book that you would never know about otherwise!
(I have heard great things about this book!)

5. Pajamas. I go for all kinds of pajamas! I don't love to spend a ton on P.J.s, but I am wearing them ALL the time. So just know, they will not go to waste! Costco has some great fleece ones out right now. They are the brand Aria, and I have been loving them! Ross, Marshall's, Kohl's, and Tj Maxx sell some great pajamas as well.
(Pajamas from Costco. So cuddly! Wish I got a large instead of a medium because they shrink a whole size in the dryer :/ )

Dog
1. Kong Toys. We saw these in Petco the other day, and they are so fun! You buy the toy that is rubber and has a huge hole in the bottom of it. Then you can buy the peanut butter that is put into a squeeze tube (real peanut butter, just in easier form for the toy. Found it right next to the toy). What dog doesn't like peanut butter???
(Throw this in the freezer before giving it to your dog to make the treat last longer!)

2. New Collar. Sometimes it's fun to switch up their collar! Give them something new to wear!

3. Scoop of Ice Cream. Everyone else is eating amazing foods for these holidays, while were still feeding our pups their dog food! We used to give our dog a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream for special occasions to let her know she was still included :) Some might disagree with this, but it never hurt her. She loved it! And always knew when we said ice cream!

4. Bag of Doggy Treats. At Petco, they have a doggy treat bar. It's exactly like a candy store, but in dog treat form! You pick out which kinds you want to give to your pup, and pay per pound. This might be a bit expensive, but why not treat your best friend??

5. Blanket. We're all getting new P.J.s, why not get your dog a new blanket! I'm talking a big, nice and cozy sherpa/fleece lined blanket that's big enough for them to lay with, or be covered in.
(You could also get it personalized with their name for an extra special touch!)

Bonus (For Anyone)
1. Fuzzy Socks! I'm sorry, but who doesn't love fuzzy socks?!!

Enjoy!

P.S. Don't forget to check back later in the week. We have a big announcement coming!
