Honey Teriyaki Seared Chicken

Honey Teriyaki Seared Chicken

Come on. You're lying if you say that name doesn't make your mouth water. Seriously. These chicken bites are perfect on their own, but they would also be perfect in a salad or on top of rice!
YUM!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a pic of the finished product, because my man was running out the house to go to work, and he took all of the chicken with him for dinner. It must have just been THAT yummy when he taste tested it for me. ;)

(Not my pic, but the chicken bites came out looking EXACTLY like this)

Shopping List
1. 3 chicken breasts (I cut the tendons out before cooking, and cut into bite-sized pieces)
2. 1 cup of honey
3. 1/2 cup of soy sauce
4. 1/4 cup of ketchup
5. 2 cloves of garlic, minced
6. 2 tbs of olive oil
7. Salt and pepper to taste
8. Sesame seeds to garnish

Recipe
1. Cut chicken into bite sized pieces.

2. Heat olive oil in a medium sized skillet, and sear the chicken on all sides until it is cooked through.
3. While the chicken is cooking, mix together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and garlic in a separate bowl.
4. When the chicken is throughly cooked, heat the sauce on the stove, and stir in the chicken.
5. When the sauce is fully heated, you are ready to enjoy your meal!

Hopefully you ladies work this into your meal plan for next week! It was a winner in my house :)
